The wool is the neckwarmers can stretch a little (like 2-3 inches, depending on size) beyond the measured circumference.
Because they are two layers thick, they will stay in place, if you'd like it to stay up around your face.
The warmers did used to be made much smaller than the age they were designated as, but LANACare made them larger after feedback. One of the three largest "adult" sizes - medium, large or XL should work for you.
If you order one and find it doesn't work, we're happy to exchange it, free of charge - or you can return it.
