Though there is no expiration date, we recommend using it within 1 year. Sometimes, when the soap gets near the bottom, and particularly if it is stored in a cool place, it might "gel". It can be melted by mixing with boiling water, and allowed to cool to lukewarm before adding to a larger volume of water for washing a garment.
